Vida’s Pumpkin Pie

Compliments of Vida Tanner Duel, Salisbury Center, New York

For 9” pie

Beat together:

1 3/4 cups mashed cooked pumpkin
1 tsp salt ( Carol omits)
1 3/4 cups of milk (depends on thickness of pumpkin)
2 eggs
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger

Sprinkle 1/2 tsp of nutmeg on top

Bake at 425° for 45 to 55 minutes (until brown on top)
