Do you have any recipes that you don’t know where you got them? This is one of those recipes. But it really adds something elegant to an ordinary piece of fresh crusty bread. It’s one of those once in awhile treats since we have cut way back on butter.
8 Tblsp soft butter
2 Tblsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 Tblsp finely chopped shallots or scallions
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 tsp Mother’s Peppercorn Dijon Mustard
Freshly ground pepper
Cream soft butter until fluffy. Beat in shallots, garlic, parsley, mustard and pepper.
