Growing up during the Depression, I didn't consider "homemade" to be anything special. It was just something Mother "did", and one of the things she did best was make mustard for Dad. As a child I didn't understand why he loved it so but now I'm addicted to it too !
That single recipe has inspired Dennis and I to make dozens of unique, delicious products from our family recipes. It's been said that we pioneered the Specialty Food Business in Maine by introducing my mother's mustard to a growing number of label ingredient readers who wanted a healthy alternative. We've created several delicious product lines with continued emphasis on such attributes as all-natural, gluten free, salt free and fat free.
